Good Zone Watch
This watch works great as a zone trainer, allowing you to set your individual heart rate zones and the appropriate above/below zone alarm. While lacking some features of more expensive watches (like PC output), for the price you can't go wrong. The chest strap works well during exercise, and I was please to find out that they gym cardio equipment also picks up the signal from the chest strap for when I'm working out indoors. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Chest strap works fine, like most others takes a little getting used to.
If want more data storage AND a way to read the data out to a PC, buy the Oregon Scientific WM100 to go with it. Both well worth the money.
Best of both worlds
Reading the other reviews, I think this watch got a bad rap. This is a great HR monitor and the ability to get a reading w/ or w/out the chest strap is one of the most practical features I've ever seen in a HR monitor. It's made an ideal combination for cardio and weight training. Keep the strap on for cardio or running or hell, mowing the yard and use just the touch sensors for weight lifting. I would buy this watch again in a second and probably will whenever I burn this one up.
Good HRM, Lots of Functionality
This heart rate monitor has worked well for me so far. The chest strap doesn't chafe me as I exercise either. The watch has a lot of functionalities and is not really that easy to use. I lost the manual and am not able to use a lot of the functions. I wish it was a little smaller though. i have a small wrist and wear it on the tightest setting.

I read the reviews on this watch prior to buying it. Most read as this watch is no good and hard to use which in my opinion is not true or the reviewer had bad luck or is technically challenged. The watch I got has worked fine for a few weeks. I had no trouble reading and comprehending the manual and understanding the functions this watch comes with. It is a good looking solid feeling watch with a nice band.
All of the functions will work when you have the band on monitoring. The calorie and fat burn will also give you totals if you scroll through the menus. I think 1 poster said if you were on heart rate monitor the watch did not give you the calories or fat burn, they were wrong, you just need to be wearing the strap.
This is my 1st heart monitor watch and I am sure there are better out there. for the money and the options this was and still is a good deal.
The only con I found which was mentioned in another review was the crystal does seem easy to scratch up. I bumped it on a few door jams and so on and got a nick on 2 on the face, now I just wear it for workouts. It is good enough to wear all day if you choose to but I am not.
